The staff went over and above to assist in any way possible. Super friendly and typical Japanese customer service! Onsen was beautiful... outdoor onsen was very nice. Was in walking distance to many restaurants and other onsens. Japanese style tatami room. Quite large with sitting area, sink and toilet. Very comfortable. Would stay here again.
Very accessible; all the ryokan basics are complete; healthy balanced breakfast; you’re getting more than what you pay for!
No AC; will have to rely on the weather to get cold
The location of the Ryokan, a perfect place to stay between Takayama, Matsumoto and Kamikochi. The dinner and the breakfast were very good. And the staff, so nice and helpful.
Both Onsen and Rotemburo were quite nice but a private bath would have been appreciated.
The staff (the young girl) was really polite, nice and helpful. She shower her enthusiasm to all guests. The dinner was really out of my expectations because hida beef and the famous fish were served. The onsen was so private. Everything was great!
The water of the onsen was too hot, but we can add water to adjust the temperature
The attention given from the start till the end of our stay. Very quiet and relaxing place. Loved every moment there
The price is very high but this is the norm for such dedication and kind of service in Japan
