Drinks on us
I loved the simple gesture of providing everyone in our party with a bottle of cold water upon check-in. Little low cost thing but much better than the hotel gouging us $4.00 per in our room. This of course wouldn't have meant anything without a clean room but everything we expected of the room was on point. Definitely will stay there again
Location was great! Convenient to Bryce Jordan Center for Concerts
Location was very good, walking distance to downtown, walking distance to Free White Bus to get to campus and Bryce Jordan Center
I expected lower prices
Staff was incredibly friendly.
Coffee in the lobby was horrid. Toilet paper felt cheap.
Perfect for a college visit
Very close to campus and town. Easy walking distance to everything. Easy parking and friendly staff.
the havoc unit is loud - had to turn up the TV to be heard above it. Unit works well - room nice and cool, but just loud....
Location where you can walk to shops and restaurants
There were barking dogs on our floor. We do not stay in pet friendly hotels for this very reason. The fact that it was NOT clearly advertised to be pet friendly up front caused us to waste time and money on a day w a 15hour drive..we ended up doing in one day. we were reimbursed for half the room rate...better than no refund at all. The days inn staff were understanding
Great location, wonderful staff
The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and very professional. The adjacent Mad Mex is better than the average hotel restaurant, and you can't beat the location if you want to be on campus in about two minutes (on foot).
Parking's a bit pricey, but it's a godsend in a busy town where parking's at a premium.
Clean and nice hotel
This hotel did everything a hotel should do, it was clean, comfortable and had an enjoyable little mini Towncenter with a garden, fountain and restaurant
Clean, nice, good price
Rooms were nice and clean. Staff courteous, helpful. Beautiful hotel.
Double queen bed rooms are kind of small for a family with two younger children. We brought a pack and play for the little one. Worked out good.
Terrible room and although the front desk confirmed only 50% occupancy, and it was only a one night stay, they refused to change me to a better room. Room window looked into an internal wall and ceiling. Among the worst hotel rooms I have ever styed in. Btw, it was not a highly discounted rate either. It was maybe $10 off the normal rate on the website. Have travellled to State College at least annually for over 30 years. Never used Days Inn State College before, and never will again.
Family Friendly and Great Location
Awesome downtown location and the Pool was a hit with the kids:)
A lot of street noise, but to be expected in a college town.
