Good staff - interesting building
Room very cramped - especially bathroom- very poor value for money. The Shophouse room is ridiculous- very small with a minute bathroom - to pay in excess of SGD300 per night without breakfast is scandalous. Showing us to the room the staff member offered us an upgrade unprompted by us for an additional $100 per night. Is this a ploy or simply because they are embarrassed by the rooms they are providing?
A nice and trendy place, unique to Singapore. Gives a new meaning to Singapore hospitaliy
The location is amazing and the hotel feels special. The restaurant in the hotel lobby is very good. The rooms have everything you need including a small tea set with very nice teas.
A bit dark, but it was part of the design.
Great localization at Duxton Hill with many bars and restaurants next door, near China Town. Very nice and clean room. Great restaurant for dinner. Great for couples.
I didn't have any but the coffee was good
The light switches throughout the room are confusing. Too many buttons on the panels and no descriptions.
Six Senses Duxton is situated in Tanjong Pagar, the island city-state’s central district and the eclectic heart of Chinatown where business, socializing, dining and nightlife take center stage. Transforming a row of heritage shophouses, the hotel was sustainably restored under the acclaimed designer Anouska Hempel. You are in for an eccentric and elegant surprise as you enter the 49 guestroom and suite hotel which features large golden fans and strong hues of black, gold and yellow, layered with Oriental screens and calligraphy wallpaper from Anouska’s personal collection. Yellow Pot, the innovative Chinese restaurant, offers a selection of healthful and sustainable flavors, paired with a diverse collection of premium spirits, traditional herbs and botanicals. Enjoy a morning yoga session in a leafy urban park, the healing culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine during your personal consultation or cycling and jogging.
