The room, bathroom was spacious and clean. Staff at the reception desk was very friendly. I stayed in a room with an ocean view, a very breathaking view.
Comfortable beds Bathroom was clean and good View was good but this part of Jeju, the sea looks very misty...
Staff can be arrogant sometimes Parking problem - lack of space for parking - have to use a parking machine whose operator was missing after 11pm
We love the location, the staff were helpful, the spa was amazing , there was mini supermarket, the housekeepers were cooperative, the garden roof was just the perfect spot for reading or having late coffee.
There were no restaurants near the hotel.
We booked two rooms and both rooms had different experiences. Overall, it's a nice place to come back to with good beds and a nice space. I really enjoyed the shower and the bathroom space as well. I would say it's worth it for the price if you're looking for a place to come back to and offering the basic needs of a hotel (making up your room, laundry machines, dining hall). It was nice to be able to wash my clothes in the middle of my trip and also be able to go to the cafe on the first floor (great, fresh baked goods!) I felt the room was always clean when I returned, especially the bathroom area. I liked that there was valet parking next to the entrance. Overall, a nice hotel to stay in if you've got a budget but want to be in a hotel.
This is a review from 4 people who stayed in two separate rooms. People who book this hotel need to keep in mind that this is the Seogwipo EAST location. There are TWO Ramada Encores across the street from each other, and this is not the one attached to the 7-11. The first night we arrived, I pulled up to the garage and was told by the car park employee I was at the wrong hotel (even though I told him and showed him my reservation was at the EAST location) However, I was still redirected to the one across the street and had to drive back around again to get back to where I was originally. Upon entering their room, my friends found two cockroaches on the wall and the hotel staff immediately moved them to another room. For the instances above (finding location/roaches), when calling the front desk to confirm/report our information, the staff that picked up the phone had minimal English so it was hard for them to understand our problems at that moment and difficult for us to explain. Not upset at that, but it was a bit inconvenient. On the second night, the same friends found a smaller cockroach in their new room, and didn't bother to call about it (just removed it and threw it out the window). The theory is possibly they come from the open windows in the hallway and come in when the doors are open for housecleaning, but we're not sure. This is a hotel that is in Seogwipo, but it's in between the actual city and Jungmun. There isn't really much here, you'd definitely need a car. There is a 7-11 for you to go to though (so at least there's that). My friend tried to use the bidet toilet in our room to discover the bidet was not working. Overall, if you want a mid-tier-budget hotel this is kind of it, in my opinion. It was just enough to come back to and relax with a nice shower. It is a hotel, but I suppose I had higher expectations because it was part of a hotel chain. I personally would not choose to book with this hotel again.
The location is great. Is walking distance to airport transfer pick up point, eateries, shopping, subway and bus stop. Is near to everywhere.
I could not think of any.
