There was an disturbing altercation at midnight in the room above mine with shouting and loud noises. I was booked for three nights but checked out after the first night. I am willing to pay for the night I was there but I will dispute any credit card charges for the last two nights.
The location was OK. Cerrillos Blvd. is a main artery for Santa Fe, consequently it was relatively easy to access most locations of interest.
Immediately upon entering the hotel my wife and I were assaulted by the overwhelming odor of Fabuloso, a cleaner/disenfectant. It was so strong it almost burned your nose evidently in an effort to mask other odors. The carpet was filthy and stinky. Every wall needed to be painted. Bedding was old, stained, and tattered. There was hair on almost every surface in the room, as well as between the sheets. What a poorly managed property.
The location along the main roadway was good.
There were many things wrong with our room. One switch missing on twin lights at the between at the head of the beds. Light switch in bathroom need replacing - had to flick the switch several times to get them on. The toilet seat wrong size for the commode. TV did not have audio on local channels - Attendant said will bring another TV - never came back. All channels above the first dozen or so were info-commercials The carpet fraided badly where it meets the tile. Water facet loose at mirror sink. No alarm clock in room upon arrival - They provided one, which had a broken LED. Upon check-in the beds were not made and no blankets - had to go to desk to complain to get the room made up. Found a used adhesive bandage sticking to one of the bed sheets!! YUGG!
Location was good but without outside traffic noise. Lobby easily accessible from parking lot.
Bathroom door opening in with no space by toilet ... seat was oblong on round bowl causing it to extend out ... not convenient to enter/exit. Good hot water supply.
Bathtub plastic and squeaked when showering. Fridge didn’t work. Asked for two extra pillows, received one.
