Poor service
The hotel is centrally located.
The front desk attendant was rather rude. He did not believe I had paid for parking when I parked my car prior to check in that morning. Rather than going through their records he continoued to interrogate me. The bathroom was quite bad. The walls look like no one had cleaned them in quite a while. The next morning when we went to the breakfast area the attendant spoke very poorly to my husband for touching the microwave. Yelling at him “Can’t you read?” Apparently the breakfast area had been broken into, they had placed chairs and a sign around the counters to keep people from touching the counter. Rather than closing the breakfast room down until the police arrived they placed chairs. I am extremely disappointed with the service. I’d avoid this establishment completely.
Small and noisy
The room was tiny and right next to a construction site. The room was old and not maintained. The fridge was very noisy. The bedding was a blanket covered in a sheet rather than a duvet. Cheap but hit cheerful
If you’re looking for drugs or illicit sex I highly recommend
It was decently priced. Literally the only positive thing about this place- except when all you’re paying for is a place to sleep and even that is impossible, the low price no longer feel low. I apparently paid to be kept up all night by the drug-fueled orgy next door, so, not at all a bargain.
It started with impossible parking. Not until I parked a block and a half away did I find out it was okay because they were charging for actual parking lot privileges. Then the front desk clerk made us feel like we’d ripped him off by reserving a room. Apparently our booking made him overbooked by one. Somewhere between the front desk, stepping through people shooting up on the stairs, the urine stench in the walkways and whatever was going on next door I realized I have never stayed in a place this sketchy, and that included every hostel in 5 Central American countries I’ve traveled through. Calling The front desk to complain at 1 am that there was so much yelling next door that I was afraid we were about to witness a crime was useless. This place would have been better off as a dumpster fire. I can’t believe I actually had to pay to try to sleep here rather than being paid to put up with the place.
close to everything, but in a not nice neighbourho
Proximity to cable cars and trolley cars to go to Fishermans Wharf, was very good just steps away from hotel to catch the trolley cars.
The front staff were very brisk with us, there were homeless people on the stairs outside of our hotel room, thankfully they were gone in the evening. Had to pay $17 for parking at the hotel, and sign a waiver that all valuables would not be kept in the car... I assume due to the clientele of the people in the area.
Good for a last minute one night stay ONLY
Staff was kinda helpful after finally comin out to see the situation. UGh.
Party people. DOORS have big cracks don't seal right. SLAMMED doors every 2 seconds. Bunch of white people calling each other niggah while drinking til 1am . Fighting which finally led to cops coming and shutting them up. Girls showing up half naked and running in and out of rooms. Hearing people bang for 2-3mins all night long.never again. Plus 15.00 parking and not enough parking. Pay the extra money and stay at double tree in Sout San Francisco
My mom opened the door to a hooker
The location was good for exploring the mission district
First night there was a crime scene in the parking lot. Police everywhere dusting for finger prints. Next the walls were paper thin so you can hear everything happening next door from fights to people getting it on. People also hung around til 5 am screaming and smoking outside the doors in the hall way. No quiet hours were enforced. And finally, we opened up our door to a prostitute who had the wrong door number. Would never stay again.
Not a really good place
It was really over priced for the an outdated room.
The front desk clerk was really rude seem to be racist. It's really uncomfortable for a African American student. It's not a safe place. I stayed in room 230 House keeping did not change my sheets in the four days that I stayed. The microwave and the T.V. could not work at the same time. The t.v. had to be turned off in order to use the microwave. There was water damage in the bathroom. I was in a non smokers room but the room smelled like cigarettes.
Ehhh...you can find better
I liked the location of this plus the fact that you had access to parking which is $15.00 per day.
The cable for our TV didn't work, the TV wouldn't turn on at times, an employee had to come to my room to attempt to fix it and was in our room for a good 20 minutes, and the people in the hotels next door sound like they're right next to you. These walls must be very cheap, it's a very loud area so I don't recommend this area if you plan to get a good night sleep.
Twicker central
I didn't feel safe First night people were knocking on my door all night Why? Most likely prostitutes or those high on meth First day coming back to my room a meth head was outside Hiden as I was opening my door I was surprised by him as he said hey most likely hooking for more meth money I highly don't recommend
THIS PLACE HAS BEDBUGS!
Absolutely NOTHING. From The moment I arrived to check in until the time I departed the next day there was absolutely nothing at all that was even resembling a shred of accountability, courtesy, or customer service.
This hotel has a problem with a rampant infestation of bedbugs. After only having been in the room for a a couple of hours total I was bitten in several different spots on my body. In the process I managed to actually catch one of the insects and promptly bagged it up in a small, clear, unused garbage bag. I immediately tied the bag shut and took the specimen down to the front office to register a complaint and seek some sort of explanation or at least an apology. Instead I was met with resistance. And, finally they claimed that there wasn't anything that they were going to do about the situation. Having had my luggage in the room and wanting to return home that day I was left with the chore of having to re-wash all of my clothes and treat my small rolling suitcase by having it put away in a cold storage for the next three days. This was costly and time consuming. Not to mention infuriating. That the staff at this hotel is fully aware of the problem and does NOTHING to abate the issue is not just concerning it should quite simply be illegal. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, for any reason. Anyone looking to spend a night in San Francisco will be better served to look elsewhere.
Dirty, AC doesn't work
Location is great. A lot of walkable fun.
The staff was rude. The AC didn't work and I brought it to their attention. They promised to not charge for the parking to make up for it, and then they charged me anyway. Just a super disappointing and overall bad experience. For the price you would think you were getting something at least half way decent.
Never again.
Nothing.
Rude clerk. Dirty room. Loud music played half the night. Bad experience.
