Pros:We stayed there three nights. We parked our car the first day I didn’t use it again. That was a great plus. It is close to several of the Muni lines and we found it easy to get around. Although the Motel is old they keep it reasonably clean. The continental breakfast consists of a roll and coffee or juice.

Pros:Location was central to SF
Cons:Do you want shoddy construction or cold showers? Look no further. Very old musty smell almost everywhere. The places that weren't, actually smelled like a used diaper- no exaggeration. The lid to the toilet tank was not even the same size as the toilet bowl leaving it to be half balanced and look incredibly sloppy. Have you ever heard the expression, "you can't fit a square peg in a round hole?" The builders of this place sure hadn't. The toilet seat was also a good deal longer than the actual toilet leaving a massive overhang. Floppy dong- say hi to the yellow brown tiles! The grout and sealant of the seams of the bath fitters-esque renovation of the shower was grotesquely unprofessional. There were visible nail heads protruding from the white substance. But wait- there's more! The shower never even reached a warm temperature. All three nights we stayed here the water never became warm.. It was not user error.. The sinks or any water source never became more than barely room temperature. There was one morning it seemed a bit warmer, but it could have been hallucinations from diaper fumes. Tanks tapped out at 7-8 AM and still again at 9-10 at night?... fantastic. Three days of cold, prison style showers... It was actually festive since we planned on going to Alcatraz while we visited the bay area. There was a black smoke like stain above the headboard of the creeky bed as well. No doubt some poor soul who occupied the room prior couldn't take another ice shower, the diaper smell, or the nails in the bathroom grout and left gun residue on the wall when he made his final check out to life. Oh! I almost forgot! There were also those black clamp style office clips on the blinds to the front window facing the streets. These were to keep the blinds shut because obviously the ability for the shades to remain shut on their own is a luxury granted to only those willing to pay more than $150 a night for motel, diaper smell, prison showering amenities. San Francisco is a great city though.

Cons:No air conditioning was a bit rough on a hot day but it cooled off enough by evening to not be an issue.

Pros:I like the fact that it was located in a great part of town - close to many attractions and very quiet. Plus, right up the street there are plenty of bars that one could choose from (if looking for such things). The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and accommodating. The room was small but we were not looking for a place to lounge as we came to the city to be in it, not to be in the room.
Cons:Did not like the dirty shower floor, but mostly due to appearance.

Pros:Got last minute on our way into city when everywhere else was booked. GREAT PRICE. Can't beat the location - within 10 minutes walking to Pier 39 and other great sights. Cannot beat the value
Cons:Rooms were somewhat smaller - didn't mind because we only slept and showered there.
