Lobby was nice
- Rooms get a lot of noise from the street, even with windows closed - No AC, ceiling fan only, which had a strange hum - Location is AWFUL, there were homeless people in tents all around, saw two on the sidewalk with syringes, its the ground zero of drugs and homelessness in San Fran - 4AM street arguments between drugged up people, all 4 nights i stayed there, there was some street drama that made me feel unsafe - The door opens to the bus stop where many drugged up / homeless people hang out - Try not to get your fingers jammed up in the 1950's style elevator sliding-cage door
Older building had a lot of character. Front desk staff was friendly but not very attentive
Place the breakfast in the larger coffee area. That space was so cramped that you could barely fit 2 people at the same time. Get a coffee machine that doesn't require an advanced degree to operate.
Room looked nice good decor and comfortable bed. Was clean. Close enough to good food places.
Poor location. All Uber drivers also commented on location being rough, lots of drug addicts.
A little gem if you stay indoors.
The renovations to the building has made this place a little gem.
The location is terrible - too many homeless out the front, a rough area. The place is close to a lot of places but you will be to scared to go out at night.
Very bad location
The staff was great! Also right by Rusty's Southern which is hands down the friendliest bar/restaraunt I have ever been to. The food was amazing!
Location - homeless people harass you for money early in the morning and after 9pm. They line up on Eddy and Hyde. Terrifying of you're a girl walking alone.
Amazing pizza place a block or two up. Location and staff. Clean sheets. If you plan to be out of the hotel ALL day and just sleep here, it's good.
Parking was HORRIBLE!!! Rundown, dirty. Didn't keep people quiet in rooms when they were yelling and laughing and loud till 5 in the morning.
Our neighbor had a fight in the hallway with a staff member. Not very nice staff, except one. Bad neighborhood. Okey location.
They can do better
The store right next to hotel was convenient for water and small snacks. It was also pretty close to alot of restaurants and bars.
The first room we were given wasn't even cleaned up from the previous travelers. The second room while overall a better room still felt small but it fit our needs. The mini fridge didnt work and we told the staff this and were met with "did you try plugging it in the othet outlet" it was never replaced or looked at. They also didnt have hotel parking instead they made me park at a different hotel right down the street , which one guy in particular was incredibly rude and charged me double the rate for 2 days then his other coworkers wich only charged me a normal rate for 3 days. Either way I wont be staying here again.
