Beds were super comfortable. Rooms were clean and modern
Amazingly comfortable bed!!! Hotel and staff were great. Would stay here again.
The cost of parking was crazy!! $75 a night for parking is crazy in my personal opinion.
Very convenient location, should be safe area based on my experience. Nice and helpful staff.
The view of the city was great.
The floors were filthy in the room, there was mold in the shower, the valet has no phone so you have to go down and hand them the ticket for your car. The hotel staff was lazy and slow to respond to everything. Took 3 calls and the housekeeping manager to come up before our floors were vacuumed. The beds are very uncomfortable.
I loved my stay here. The staff was amazing. They got us to our room with no problem. I did have two children with me and they were giving a gift at the front desk to make there experience more comfortable. The rooms were very beautiful plus the beds were super comfortable. I will definitely be coming back here for my next stay in San Francisco.
I wish the parking or drop off options were better. For my trip I was dropped off form an uber. My uber drive didn't have a spot he could stop at so I could get all my items out of the vehicle. We were constantly driving around the hotel looking for a safe place to stop. The other thing I wasn't to crazy about was that people working out in the gym could watch me and my family swim. It was a little uncomfortable.
The Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Downtown is not as fashionable as surround competitors in SoMa, but the affordable price, renovated and spacious rooms, and convenient amenities make it an attractive choice for business travelers and families.
The Courtyard by Marriott is located in San Francisco's SoMa (South of Market Street) neighborhood, in a mixed-use area of warehouses, art spaces, loft apartments, and technology companies. The hotel’s location aims to please business travelers with a prime location near the Financial District, plus the Moscone Center, San Francisco's major convention center, is only two blocks south. Tourists will find Union Square, which offers several of the city’s best museums and designer shopping, a 15-minute walk from the hotel. However, the most popular attractions are farther away.
Amenities at the hotel include a small pool, popular with kids, an adjacent Jacuzzi, 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor patio, and more than 9,000 square feet of meeting and event space. While there are many local restaurants within a short walk, there are also options on-site. Guests can have breakfast at Jasmine’s, with fresh fruit, hot dishes, pasties and a cooked-to-order omelet station. Whispers Bar and Grill is a sports-and-beer oriented pub open for dinner, and there is also a Starbucks and small market for grab and go items.
The rooms are a main attraction to the hotel due to their larger-than-average size and perfectly comfortable bedding. In-room amenities and features include a large flat-screen TV, work desk and chair, free internet, coffeemaker, and free toiletries.
