Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade

Great value and great service

Staff was above and beyond. Minor issues were addressed quickly and thoroughly. Serious issues did not come up at all. Staff continuously and proactively offered service, advice and support. Some good restaurants nearby, though shopping was limited. Hotel will drive you anywhere within 5 miles. 15 minutes from the airport (their shuttle) and a $15 Uber ride to downtown sites like the Riverwalk or the Alamo.

Room was a bit older and darker than we prefer, but comfortable and very quiet. Elevators were a temporary problem on Friday night but were fixed by Saturday morning.

Kid friendly but some exceptions.

Really appreciated the cribs provided (we traveled with twins). Great touch on the bag and goodies for the kids. The pools were amazing, and the outdoor movie really added a nice touch.

Unfortunately the room we booked did not have a fridge to keep toddler necessities cold. We obviously booked a business room, evident by the available mini bar, instead of the themed family rooms, but it was still disappointing about finding this out until after checking in. Surprising considering all the kid-friendly advertisements, but did not take away from our experience.

The great service, beauty, indoor pool, and overall relaxed atmosphere of the Omni.

I was not able to get quick coffee, creamer, or snacks without ordering room service or going to the restaurant--which was not always open. Not really a big issue.

They provide milk and cookies for the kids along with an activity booklet

The location is hard to navigate off the highway. Not their fault, but it was tricky
