Attractive and quirky place to stay. Good kitchen equipment provided. Great view of river and nice walks in grounds.
Could do with mirror in main room, shower grouting needs sorting, feels a bit remote within such a large site. Waiting for reception to open - late on 2 occasions.
The room was on the second floor of a beautiful old building that overlooked great gardens with a fantastic view over the river. There was a golf course and many other facilities on site, and we were within a 30 minute walk of the centre of Qimper, which was a lovely old town. We ate at the restaurant on the site and the menu was fairly basic, but the food was good.
It was not the easiest place to find, but once we had found the site, and booked in it was quite difficult to find out room. The entrance Hall was a bit dingy and there were 2 flights of stairs up to our room, but the room was charming, with a fantastic view.
The house was lovely and quiet and had a very private outside area with table, chairs and sun loungers. The estate is beautiful and we loved walking round the gardens. The pool and slides were good if a little chilly and my son loved the play areas and trampolines. The staff were extremely friendly.
The house was in need of modernisation and the bathroom wasn't very clean. The onsite shop / takeaway were a little expensive.
With a stay at Domaine de l'Orangerie de Lanniron in Quimper, you'll be by the sea, within a 15-minute drive of Cathedral of Saint Corentin of Quimper and Museum of Earthenware Quimper. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
