The room size was good, the pool area was nice. The hotel building was really beautiful and the location was excellent.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights and two of the days we were there we had no hot water. When I called down to reception to let them know about the problem when it first happened I was hung up on twice. The problem was finally sorted but we ended up having two wait around until about 1:30pm before we could shower and start our day. Then the next morning the hot water was gone again. The air conditioner in our room had a controller that didn’t work and the temperature fluctuate between hot and cold throughout the night. On our second morning there there was incredibly loud construction that started a little before 9am. The hairdryer in the room was broken and wasn’t fixed after we reported it to reception. Sometimes things go wrong and that’s not really the issue, the issue was that no one seemed to care. The staff obviously have to deal with complaints a lot and seem unbothered by it.
We enjoyed the facility but the little detail things need to be fixed. Door jam broken. Pool not clean as it could be.
The historic and architectural detail is beautiful. The location is fantastic and the staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there on our next visit.
Location. Pool area was nice.
When we got there they charged my credit card double for the room. I had to prove rate from my Booking.com confirmation. Then we changed rooms 3 times and not one air-conditioner was working. So we settled for a fan. We are flexible people but was disappointed in Managers attitude.
Friendliness at check-in, clean room and comfortable beds. The garden was lovely and we have great photos to reminisce about this great hotel and Puebla.
A mini fridge would have been helpful, better toiletries in the bathroom please.
The room is good, bed was ok, location is great, it is at the heart of everything, Starbucks across the street.
The room is in dire need of renovation and updates, ie missing knobs, broken doors, leaning tables. Front desk staff needs a major overhaul of his attitude and needs more customer service training. As we were checking in, sat down on the chair in-front of his desk, no hi hello welcome, he then picked up phone. While he was talking he was pointing at the computer screen telling me by hand gestures which one is me amongst 3 others checking in that day. As I pointed out my name he then gave us the keycard and yes he was on phone while doing so. Another employee brought us into our room in utter silence in somber mood. We frequently travel and never felt so unwelcomed like this before, even my 8 year old noticed & said when we get into our room “whoa that was weird!” Pool’s water was brown. Rooftop was very dusty, dirty which is sad coz I specifically chose this hotel for the view. Over all experience
