Mr. Agustino, the owner as well as the other staff are all very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Facilities and rooms are clean. Wi-fi is also available, and breakfast is superb. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was best. The owner and his love of his home and guests.The bottle of port in my room. His friendliness which even extended to him storing my luggage until home time, then driving me to the airport and refusing to accept any "taxi" payment

Value for money was exceptional. We had free wifi in room, free car parking across the road, free bottled water, and free 9 year old carafes of port wine! Agostinho Ribeiro was extremely helpful with planning our tours.
Not walking distance to centre. Breakfast very basic. I think there was no a/c - no problem for us at this time of year, but would not know how one copes in summer.

the stuff was very helpful! we arrived quite late and everything was already ready (child bed in the room). they prepared us a city map where everything important was marked, even which bus we have to take to get home and on which stop we have to get out :D
