“The experience was good but what surprised me extremely was the inability to lock the door of room 236 aside from the chain. There was a lock, but the door frame was bent inwards, which prevented to use of the lock as it got stuck on the door frame. Thus only the chain was functional, but that is not much of a comfort, as anyone could open the door and the chain can be cut very easily with bolt cutters in a second or two. This means the feeling of security was very low, especially given that nor the outside door, nor the elevator, that both had the card readers were using them and literally anyone could have walked inside the hotel itself. When I confronted the staff at the reception about this, the guy told me that that is ok, that I cannot lock the door and should use the chain. That felt not helpful at all.”
