The room was clean and the location was excellent

The room offered a peep show into the shower and toilet, with what should have been a wall replaced with glass and a flimsy see through curtain. The room was impossible to have well lit as the lighting was poor and window offered next to no light. I asked for a faulty lamp to be repaired three days in a row- it wasn’t fixed and no one told me why. The air conditioner unit was right behind the bed head and very loud. The whole place had a very trendy vibe to it, not super relaxing.

    Location was brilliant

Too small room. We then upgraded to deluxe which was barely bigger. The bathrooms are so small your knees will be against the wall on the toilet

Excellent location for attending events at Lincoln Center. Great restaurants very near by too.

We wished there had been a small refrigerator in the room. Also no ice buckets were available. Only two paper cups in the room for in-room beverages we brought in. Next time we will be prepared and bring travel ice bucket and plastic cups.

The staff were courteous and very helpful.

The view wasn’t pleasant. I would’ve liked to see the city and not the alley

    Good location

Extremely noisy room with insufficient sound insulation from the street. Extremely noisy aircon unit. Very poor room lighting to begin with, then of the three lights two were broken. TV arm broken, at least 25% of TV channels not working, TV remote not working. Dirty drinking cups in the bathroom.

About

Overview

The lively upscale Hudson Hotel is a trendy boutique property in Midtown Manhattan that embraces several elements from the original 1929 building through exposed brick and ductwork. This stylish hotel is popular with Millennials and tourists looking for stunning city and river views.

The Hudson Hotel is close to some of the most popular attractions and communities of Midtown Manhattan. A four-minute walk will bring guests to Central Park and high-end shopping and dining of Time Warner Center. A ten-minute walk will lead tourists to many world-renowned theaters and performing arts venues such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and several famous Broadway and off-Broadway theaters. The hip restaurants, international eateries, and popular bars of Hell’s Kitchen can also be reached on foot in under 15 minutes.

Accommodations at the Hudson Hotel are impeccably designed, warm and sophisticated with a retro-inspired décor. There are a variety of room options available with amenities such as flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, down duvets, small work desks, and iPod docks. In addition, city or Hudson River views are also a standard luxury.

Features at the hotel are as hip as the rooms. The seasonal rooftop bar features live trees, cushioned lounge chairs, hammocks, and stunning panoramic views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. Year-round, New Yorkers and guests line up for a table at the flagship location of ultrahip Umami Burger where all meals are served. Another unique feature at the hotel is the Library Bar where guests can sip craft cocktails, enjoy a fire, and cuddle on leather chairs with a book.

Young at heart and utterly cool, Hudson New York Central Park offers some of the best places to hang in New York, all while being conveniently located to popular tourist attractions.
