Worst hotel experience of my life
My daughter and I tried to check in around 7pm. We waited on the line to check in for an hour and a half. No exaggeration. When we finally got up there, they told us there were no rooms available for anyone. They were short staffed and there were no clean rooms. We did not get up to our room till almost midnight. And it was a room with just one bed, not two. Small, dingy room, not very clean. And on top of that, they put an extra charge on my room that I am still disputing. Never again.
Not clean and horrible smell
Only it was on perfect location
Rooms, Carpets, bed, mattress, comforter, pillow, bathroom fittings everything is very old. Badly smelling in hotel.
Ripped off through getaroom.com
Getaroom.com took my payment of 500+ dollars for 2 nights at hotel Pennsylvania. When I arrived to spend the weekend in NYC at the hotel there were NO ROOMS AVAILABLE!!! I had to pay another 500$ to stay at another hotel. Getaroom.com has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Kayak needs to know that their partners are making them look very bad. Chris
Good location and thats it!
Only thing I liked was the location.
Rooms were not clean. Uncomfortable beds. Needs an overall renovation.
My bag was stolen in the lobby and the security saying they cannot cam
The security is very poor , bcoz my bag was stolen at the lobby .
Very dirty but good location.
Close to Madison Square Garden.
Not clean at all and staff was rude.
0 star motel Be Alert of BEDBUGS
We booked this Motel because we couldn't find anything else in the area and pictures looked okay. - our entire cloths were infected with BEDBUGS. -rooms smell nasty - I can't even justify to give this Motel a 1star -after complaining about bedbugs to management looked like they don't give a s**t -please spend an extra $100 and don't ruin your vacation and book something better, if you can't find anything else sleep in the street rather than staying in this nasty Motel. - me and my wife both had multiple bedbug bites
The location, opposite Penn Central, easy access from the JFK airport
The room was not clean, the bathroom was in a very poor condition, the room was noisy. The breakfast which had been excellent is now a candy store and all that was available was a"continental" breakfast of a pastry, a coffee and a juice!!!, served from a cupboard, almost no seating to eat the poor fare. I was charged $30 for Facilities which was not shown on the web site nor could the desk staff explain what it was for. I queued for over an hour to check in, this is not good after a long journey. The hotel has deteriorated in the last twelve months.
Water kept dripping in bathroom sink
Worst checkin experience ever. I guess the hotel was short staffed in cleaning services. ..they must have been very very short staffed. Myself and other had to wait for hours in the checkin line. I eventually caved at 1am and canceled my room. At that point I set out on foot to find another hotel. I feel bad for those two couldn't do what I did due to luggage and language barriers. It was despicable. They were even giving out dirty rooms. I stood next to a women almost crying because she went to her room after 2 hrs of waiting to find it a mess. Communication was terrible from the staff. Managment only answered if those in line began to yell and revolt. No lie, I was one of them. Can I give zero stars? I better get my full refund.
Waited one hour in line to check in, room was very old and run down, phone did not work, way over-priced. So loud.
Waiting on line 1.5 hours to check in. Dirty carpets, leaking faucets, small rooms, no desk or table to work on. Generally dirty, grungy, and worn out. Dank smell. Would never stay here again or recommend to anyone else.
