Historical and class Hotel and nearby the red square.
Staff were amazing, especially at breakfast - friendly, attentive to our needs and the concierge who gave us such helpful advice as first time visitors to Moscow.
would like to have stayed longer.
the hotel is so historical and we felt a real nostalgic atmospher
We thought the facilities suited the ambiance of Moscow, with its classic elegance. The staff were great, with most speaking English. Went out of there way to help us when needed. The elegance extended to the bar and to the service. Breakfast was a buffet, more than satisfactory.
The hotel is let down by one thing. The WiFi was the worst of our trip! dropped out often and sometimes couldn't be found. Frustrating, so much that I would only give the hotel a "B" rating. In these days, from a 5 star hotel you expect better
Fabulous hotel, mix of modern with old world charm - superb staff and the concierge desk is superb for all your planning needs. From excursions, to local advice and the you're virtually on top of Red Square and the Kremlin. Perfect location, excellent pavement cafe, quality food and services. I travel here on business a lot. I always use the Hotel Car service to and from the Airport and around the City.
