Very Chic Hotel
Great rooms, great staff, great food, great pool, great location. SLS hits it on all levels!
Experienced an absolutely terrifying check-in experience by a Ms. Yomaira, causing us to cut our stay and leave after one night. Were treated with disrespect and subpar to the expected service to be provided by comparable hotels of the same class. However, in my experience with the Beverley Hills SLS Hotel, the above review of not a reflection of the staff as a whole of these hotels.
My Favorite SB Hotel
Everything about the place is ascetically pleasing, staff is super nice, people are cool and laid back, I brought my three small children there and everyone treated them like they were the cool kids on the block haha. They had a ball, and we felt comfortable, being young parents it's hard to find somewhere to go that's a good balance for our type of family.
Rooms are a little small and food and drink prices a little steep.

Customer service needs to improve radically, for such an expensive hotel, they're lacking of guest assistant. Just stayed for one day and encountered that the guest services speaks way to fast and they give you too many directions. Couldn't make it to the pool through the side pool because it was close even for the guests. Things that they didn't told us. The waitress at the bar acted null. Called the valet 30 minutes before I went downstairs to have my car ready and waited 25 minutes more do some dumb excuses from the valet guy, then when I claimed he started to argue with me. My fiance spent in total $500 for one night and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Never coming back.

The beach staff was friendly.
I didn't like the front desk personnel. Everything we requested the answer was always no. Also, our room wasn't cleaned all day. I had to request for the room to be cleaned when we left for dinner in the evening. Once we returned late at night no towels were left for us. Had to request at 2am.

Staff was friendly at first but did nothing to accommodate us even though we were staying for 5 nights and had 2 rooms and lost or luggage for a few hours by accidentally sending it to another hotel. Room can barely fit 1 person. Food was so overpriced by the pool. Has a snobby vibe. Would never go back, checked out early to go to another hotel..
Exclusive and worth the price
Definitely a high price venue. While the room cost is high, you are not nickel and dimed for everything else like at other hotels on the strip (e.g., you do not pay for beach chairs)...
Rooms are a little on the small side. Great for a luxury/exclusive weekend but gets a little tight beyond a couple nights.

Housekeeping stored housekeeping trash in the halls. Management not responsive to this condition trash was stored in the hallway 4 out of 5 nights. Drinks are $20:00 each. Rooms are smaller than a jail cell

Understand it's a small room but there were two of us, very strange to have only one wine glass, and one tumbler in the bathroom, while there were two bathrobes. one of the bathrobes literally had caked on boogers on it, very digusting. we displayed it for housekeeping to see and they didn't even replace it. not did they replace the dirty towels they took away. The one wine glass had left over liquid in it from we don't know when. we put them on the room service tray hoping house keeping would get the hint but they simply put it back on our desk. cleaniness in the room was no star. Do not like the fact that Hyde Beach club does not serve the regular cocktail menu at night. the cocktails rocked, and i really didn't want to pay $15 at night for a very watered down vodka soda when the awesome cocktails are $18 during the day.
