Sofitel Marrakech Palais Imperial

Our complaint about the room was dealt with a free upgrade.Staff are very obliging.Common parts were fine and pool areas very nice. Good Spa.

The rooms are very old fashioned. Air conditioning was turned off at the mains despite the very hot weather which made it stuffy and uncomfortable. A hotel in need of investment.The main restaurant (Oranger) lacked professionalism, exemplified by the fact that having been given the wine list, they did not have in stock the first two bottles that we ordered and the 3rd bottle of white wine arrived near the end of our meal at room temperature.

I was very impressed with the Junior Suite, the public sections of the hotel, the swimming pool and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is also idealy situated .
