Close to the strip but better to go by uber if you don't have any car, beacause is very hot by walking. The rooms are very clean and full staff in any room! the swimming is a good place to relax and there's also a bar where you can eat next to the pool! Staff are very friendly and helpfull. We were 6 person and the bed are so comfortable, the couch too, that's incredible! The desert rose Resort is a really good resort with a good price! Good job!!

We did have to walk a block or so in the heat to get to the strip.

When I arrived the woman at the desk advised me that my room wasn’t ready. I told her, “ oh I’m sorry I called 45 minutes ago and they told me one was” she was like uh, well, um I don’t know why, we do not have a room ready. I told her that’s why I called first to see if their was a room available before I came in because I knew I was earlier then check in. So she slams her pen down and walks into another room. Comes back, works on the computer for about two minutes and then gives me a room key. This pretty much set my mood for the rest of the stay. I could have been eating out of gold plated dishes and drinking nectar from the Gods, was not the way I wanted to start my trip. I won’t say her name, let’s just hope that everyone gets on the same page on room availability. Also let’s hope this woman was just having a bad day, because she should consider a new profession if this is how her customer service skills are.
