It was very quiet with good heating (in a rainy, cold period). Free internet was an attraction though having to renew your ticket every 2 days was a bit annoying. And it was very convenient to transportation and the waterfront.

Staff in restaurant were very welcoming despite the fact we were delayed en route and only arrived as the restaurant was due to close. Wonderful dinner and extensive breakfast in dining room with wonderful view.
Our booking was for a room in the historic part of the hotel. We were 'upgraded' to a newer separate part of the hotel which was in fact disappointing as it lacked any charm and the air conditioning was not very effective.
