The hotel has a nice historic charm and excellent food
It was noisy. Children running up and down the hall late at night. Hot water was out for 24 hours. And there is no parking. You are all but forced to use valet.
Pet friendly with provisions
Pets are allowed; but only two that are each less than 25 lbs.
I was unpleasantly surprised that their pet friendliness came at the price of a $100 non-refundable pet cleaning fee.
Comfortable beds...until they started biting
Room service was top notch. 100%. Beds were super comfortable
Woke up with bed bug bites all over. Told the front desk at check out and she responded with "must be something else. Mosquitos or something." She was very rude. I'm an adult, I've had my fair share of mosquito bites and these are not them! Try harder to make your guests feel heard.
The Tremont is an historic and beautiful hotel!
The Tremont is a beautiful and comfortable hotel. The lobby, cafe', and sitting areas are welcoming. Live pianist plays in the European style lounge area. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Tall ceilings and flowing draperies; antique furniture and classic wall treatments. I recommend this hotel to everyone!
Staff was excellent!
Proximity to The Strand
Entrance is not handicap accessible. Only stairs available.
The location is excellent for night life, restaurants and boutiques. It's very convenient if you're departing or arriving from a cruise. The historic aspect is impressive.
We had an inner room facing the courtyard and the noise from the bar area earlier in the evening was a bit distracting. The jazz band was enjoyable, but we were tired and just unwinding from a long day. The low flow toilet was also a drawback.
Beautiful place to stay, excellent staff vary professional.
The hotel was beautiful. My room was very comfortable and the service was great.
We liked the setting, the history, the looks.
No parking area, a little noisy at times.
Beautiful rooms. Pictures don't do them justice.
The rooms are good. The staff is good. The valet is good. Overall good stay.
The bar was very pricey.
