First time staying here. Nice property and building. Staff was excellent. Check here before anywhere else. Room was clean. No worries about bugs or anything like that.
Liked it all.
Terrible old smelly overpriced
the moment you walk in you realize the hotel looks very different than what the photo shows. This is a hotel where truckers stop as you will see many of them because they get dirt cheap rates. As expected the room was old and it was stinking of perfum. The windows do not open they are cemented not to open so the only way is to breath the dirty air conditioner. I could not figure out why but the smell was giving me a headache. The internet did not work. They wanted deposit money which was absurd given how old and poor their hotel was. The breakfast was very poor and at minimum. It is time for cheap American hotel owners to go to Europe and Asia and learn how hospitality is done. I will never return to this ugly smelly "hotel". Half of the hotel was empty yet they wanted more money for it than you would pay even in France. Terrible place and brand.
Smell, old, carpets were dirty, bathroom ugly, windows never open, bad lobby no internet
Good Value for the Money.
Clean, comfortable lodging at a good rate.
Generic breakfast offering.
No hot water
Close to the wedding we were attending.
I took two showers, one Saturday and one Sunday. There was no hot water either time. Key cards did not work properly, made 4 trips from the fourth floor to reprogram, ended up having to change rooms after we were unpacked.
Reasonable rate for a great room
This motel is only 200 yds. off of I-95 at mile post 133. We had a king non-smoking room that was very large nicely decorated. A flat screen TV with a desk that was big enough for any business man to do his daily work. There is free in room wi-fi that is easy to connect to and the pool and work out room are very adequate for a family or individual to enjoy there stay. The room was clean and we are going to stay at this motel next year on our way back from our winter vacation. Keep up the good work!
The phone and the alarm clock in the room didn't work but the room was nice.
Conveniently located off I-95 between Richmond and DC yet more affordable for than comparable hotels in either. Staff pleasant, wifi access was superb and one of the fastest and easiest to access of all the places I've stayed
Beds not super comfortable. The AC clanked and dripped all night despite being turned off. I turned it off initially because the room was very chilly when I arrived, but later on after I'd warmed up, it wouldn't turn back on. Instead it just made crazy noises.
The location was exactly where I needed it to be. The late night front desk clerk was very friendly. Breakfast was average.
The sheets were poor thread count and scratchy. Towels were also thinner and scratchy. The sink stopper was broken and disconnected and water was leaking under the sink. The hotel has a new computer system and they could not find our reservation when we arrived.
most everything was good
the air conditioner was noisy and at time woke us up
Would use again
Very nice hotel. Was pleasantly surprised
Toilet seemed to be having some issues flushing
Not so good
Twice I confirmed my reservation and both times the staff person who was on the phone could not find me. So I cancelled that reservation and made a new one on line, through Kayak. When I got to the site with a reservation print out in my hand, which contained a conformation number the gentleman at the desk again, could not find me and told me no such registration existed. I finally got a supervisor that seemed to have a clue that got me in my room. I have nothing great to say about the housekeeping, the light in my bathroom was literally falling off of the wall and the first washcloth I picked up to use had something black on it, and smelled like shoe polish. Their "free" breakfast is nothing special, was generally empty; the lady who was filling seemed more interested in chatting with someone than keeping things filled and hot. the coffee, ugh, the coffee! it was sort of funny to watch the folks and the others in my party who ate breakfast together see the faces folks made when they tasted the coffee. This location has the absolute worst coffee I have ever tasted. And, when I went for tea instead, all there was was Chamomile. Who drinks Chamomile for breakfast? thank goodness there is a Waffle House, Dunkin Donuts and a Wawa close by. In a word, whoever runs the place has some work to do; Do yourself a favor chose somewhere else.
clean and comfortable
Good free breakfast plus a wine/beer managers reception.
