The bed was AMAZING. The staff was super friendly.
The treadmill was broken and so is their sauna.
Not Quite OK
The night staff was awesome getting me into my room. He was courteous and well spoken. The spa and sauna are tucked away in a cool spot. The river is a 5 minute walk away.
My overnight stay was tarnished by one particular failure. The overall cleanliness of the room seemed to be normal. However, upon entering the shower in the morning, a substance of very disgusting origin was found on the wall and water faucet. Now, all heinous acts aside, there may be many justifiable explanations for such a scene, but there is no excuse for it not being cleaned up. I was utterly disgusted. I cleaned the mess up and did not tell my wife or child of the disgrace for not wanting to sour the day. Had I found the mess the night before I surely would have demanded a new room. A terrible oversight indeed, on both the establishments part, and that if mine.
Good place to stay
We liked the convenience of this hotel. Candy was very helpful with printing boarding passes for us.
Overall a Good Stay
Night staff seemed very friendly. Breakfast available in the morning was simple but pleasant. Loved how comfortable the beds and pillows were! That was probably one of my favorite parts of staying here. The TV, fridge and microwave all worked great, and room service was very nice and thorough in their cleaning.
Aside from the bed being so awesome, the chairs weren't the most comfortable to sit in. Little hard to sit for a long time if you need to do any work in your room--would recommend sitting on the bed or up in the lounge instead. The shower was also one of the most bipolar showers I've ever used. It was as if it were fluctuating based on every other shower and/or bathroom in the building. Would switch from warm to freezing to scalding hot every 5-10 seconds. Ended up just taking baths instead.
Although she was busy, the girl at the front desk was kind, helpful, and professional when I checked in. The hall downstairs was well lit when I returned to my room after dark.
The dirty windows and wrinkled pillow cases.
Great room, but square pillows??
All in all the room was great. It was clean, modern enough, good wifi, and mostly comfortable (especially the bed mattress).
The one exception was the square pillows! These where surprisingly difficult to sleep on.
We liked it.
The beds and location.
