Way overpaid for Shanty Hotel
There was nothing to like here! Don’t waste ur money!!
The fact I was at first given an occupied room!!! The roaches and bugs that were everywhere! It was dirty, nasty, filthy!!!
Not what wAs offered
Pool not open to guest. Mold in bathroom. Bugs in rooms. Charged 2 different prices per room that were booked the same. When complaints to desk worker all was told was I’m sorry I️ can’t help you. Let us stand there for 45 minutes before telling us it wasn’t open due to no one to check chemicals. Toilet didn’t flush. Tv stations didn’t come in clear nor slightly clear to watch.
Worst stay ever
The fact that we booked that hotel because of indoor swimming pool that after 45 minute wait to find out the hotel didn’t have anyone to check chemicals. For all that we could have booked a cheaper hotel. Mold in bathrooms. Toilet didn’t flush. Had elderly parent with me with health issues and couldn’t shower due to mold. When asking front desk clerk how to fix our issues. All she said was sorry. Not good for business. Accommodating us would have been a good thing but disappointed because she told us nothing she could do. Was referred to see the manager but when trying to get a hold of the manger was told the manager was in a meeting and never got to speak to anyone. A shame and a waste of our money.

Awful experience. The first room we were placed in did not have a working a/c unit. With the outside temperatures at 96 degrees, the room inside must have been in the upper 80s. The staff was able to accommodate us in a different room. The second room was almost as bad as the first. While the a/c was working adequately enough, there was a smoky/musty smell even though it was listed as non-smoking. Even worse, when walking around the room, I stepped on a dead cockroach which stuck to the bottom of my foot. I went to the trash can, scrapped the bug into the trash, and we proceeded to call around to find a better hotel with availability.

i was suprised that there wasn't crime scene tape and blood splatter on the walls, the most disgusting hotel i have ever stayed in

Rooms were a Lil dirty and out dated ...
It took many minutes for hot water , ice machine was broken , skimpy on soap and shampoo, etc .
Carpet smelled awful. No updates to the rooms. TV was way out of date.
We would choose this hotel again!
Rooms were comfortable with refrigerators and microwaves. Great breakfast. The staff were all very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Great, convenient location to everything the city has to offer and especially to Fort Jackson.
The hotel is older and the rooms are due for updated renovations. The thoroughness of the vacuuming of the rooms was lacking.
Easy access on and off the interstate. The oat meal at the continental breakfast.
The housekeeping was horrible. 1st day there, found a used washcloth hanging from the shower rod, the floor not vacuumed,(IE: a penny and paper shreds on the floor.), the towels and washcloths were dirty, there was no vent fan in the bathroom, the remote control fell apart and last but not least, the bathroom sink was totally disgusting. old cracked and rusty. It needed to be changed out 20 years ago. I will never stay in another Days Inn ever again. Very disappointed.

Room was dirty. Bobby pin on carpet, paper.crumbs, dirt in chair (between cushion ). Noisy( machine noise).Desk staff untrained, unprofessional.
