Pros:The afternoon manager was very personable and professional. She went above and beyond to help me resolve a reservation problem. The motel was close to everything I needed.
Cons:The quality of the room's furnishings and bathroom were bad. The beds' comforters had cigarette burn marks. The bathtub desperately needed to be caulked. The hallways were lit by weak emergency lights and smelled stale.
Cons:NO internet, the front desk told me to call a 1-800 number after 30 minutes on the phone with a tech guy still no internet so they moved me to a room that the windows were on street level with a grocery store parking lot Terrible breakfast - warm milk, no spoons for cereal nothing else much to eat
Pros:You get what you pay for it isn't a super expensive hotel so don't go there with those expectations and you should be just fine. The staff helps as they can, when they can. Other than that it's fine for a crash .
Cons:House keeping is a little loud, and even with the do not disturb sign up they still knock.

Cons:The front desk attendant the day of wouldn't let me check-in an hour early and was rude about it.
Pros:I made plans to meet my girlfriend which was staying at Fort Lee while going to school for the Airforce....me coming from Buffalo NY...I picked charlottesville because we wanted to go to Monticello and it was close to Shenandoah state part for a weekend get away..I did read a few of the comments before making resivations and seeing i have stayed at another super 8 in New York and found it to be nothing like the negative reviews for that hotel ..i figured it cant be that bad. Now..wirh that being said..here is my review for Charlottesville Super 8.. The goods.. Great location..close to EVERYTHING..restaurants..stores..entertainment..parks..you name it.. The bads.. No key cards to enter the building..not a great secured property.. Strong smell of cigarette smoke and maybe a little wacky tobacky in the hallways.. Beds are Very uncomfortable..if you stay in rhe center of the bed ..you be ok... For a non smoking room..i found burn holes in rhe sheets..hummmmm? Brrakfast was free..but we went out for breakfast ecery morning because we didnt like the maybe once frozen waffles...the offered bread fot toast..and cereal..milk that sat on ice..and wasn't really cold.

Cons:Broken chair, window cracked, had to have the microwave replaced (wouldn't turn), noisy neighbors, just run down!
