Nice room ,pool and changing rooms an unusual layout being on different levels .Generally a nice stay and would use this hotel again .
Breakfast not the best but improved on the second morning
The location was good and very convenient, clean rooms and the staff are nice
It was starting to look very tired. One lift was not working. The other took you to every floor you DIDNT want to go to. The room keys didn’t work which meant I had to walk up and down to my room numerous times to ask for new keys (for 3 out of the 4 days I stayed). The hair dryer stopped working. It was replaced....with another broken one.
good sized room
parking expensive and no other options. Not obvious that there were charges on booking.com website
Nice bedrooms - lovely toiletries too
Some noise one night from town centre
The staff, the food, the location and the comfort. We would consider going back in hopes of improvement to the spa and a working lift.
Main lift out of action for the four days we were there. The towel rail, overflow in basin and shower head very dirty. Other wise the room was lovley and comfortable. The spa.... Now that's not good. No phone or intercom. Its right away from anyone, or anywhere. I could not get in the changing room after leaving the pool. I was wet and cold. I had left my glasses in the locker while swimming and couldn't see the keypads to get back into changing room. It was so frustrating as I was cold and wet and had to go up the stirs and try to get attention of staff for help. No one around. So I had to ask a guest who was in the lounge if they would come and unlock the door. Very unhappy with that when for many reasons they should have a phone or someway of contacting staff to get help Also I have never been to a pool a steam room or sauna without drinking water supplied. The stream room stunk. The pool is tired and needs a up lift. The whole spa needs looking at for many reasons. It could be a jem, however I found it unpleasant and a very disappointing.. On speaking with the duty manager and explained these pionts, first he said he never been to a sauna /steam room so dident know anything about the need of drinking water. Then informed me it's not recommend to go to the spa alone! That's discrimination for single visitor's .
