Pleased with my stay I can’t complaint at all.

My phone hardly has service though it’s my fault because i was asked if I wanted the WiFi password and I did say no. So that’s really more like a me problem lol

Very noisy. Couple with an infant screaming right outside our room at 1am. Three young men walking by with alcohol at 1:30 am. Numerous people walking by the facility and talking very loudly. If you want a good night sleep, go somewhere else. Dont know the area, but it seems to attract the wrong crowd.

No breakfast and the floors were not clean in the room

  • Okay
    Mar 2020

Outside of room cigarette butts dirty people outside of room being loud won’t ever stay there again

  • Mediocre
    Mar 2020

There was a fridge in the room and there was a lock on the door.

The locals are running some kind of drug/prostitution ring out of here. 4th door up was open and a lady was sniffing god knows what. Men sat in chairs outside arranging deals of all kinds. Burns in the bedding, smoke detectors covered up where people had been smoking, Grimey rooms. Do not go here with children, did not feel safe.

When you are thinking about places to visit in California, admittedly, Bakersfield may not be the first city at the top of the list, but there are lots of reasons that Bakersfield is attractive to tourists. Besides being a near midpoint between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, the city has access to many different nearby natural areas including some of the natural areas featuring giant sequoias like Sequoia National Park. Staying in Bakersfield is a great way to keep yourself right in the middle of the action in California, and a great place to stay is the Econo Lodge in Bakersfield.

When staying at the Econo Lodge, you get exactly what you need – a great place to rest after a long day. The beds are plush and comfortable. Rooms are warmly decorated and business people will enjoy the complimentary WiFi. For leisure travelers, there are lots of different attractions in Bakersfield including several different museums or you can visit the mall. The Kern County Fairgrounds always has events going on, and they’re usually very family friendly.

Dining in Bakersfield is also severely underrated. There are lots of excellent farm to table restaurants as Bakersfield sits in the southern part of California’s massive agricultural area. Though the hotel does not offer a breakfast or other in-house dining options, it is located nearby to plenty. You can get a great meal with just a simple ride down the street.

There are lots of different activities in Bakersfield and being in the middle of it all means booking a room at the Econo Lodge.
