Caesar's Palace in Atlantic City is a dump with poor customer service
Because of an impending nor'easter, I was forced to check out immediately and drive back home. I didn't even get to stay the night. After speaking to several employees, including a manager, they couldn't have been colder or less caring. I didn't even get to stay a single night and was checked in for about 5 hours before leaving. I wasn't asking a refund on the night, just SOMETHING to help me out because of circumstances outside of my control. Even refunding me the cost of the room tax ($27) or a small credit to return another time would have made me feel appreciated. Instead, they forgot that the most important part of customer service is making the customer feel wanted or appreciated. Sometimes something small goes a long way, and they weren't even interested in that. Thanks, Caesars. Never again.
The overall hotel experience was fine. kayak experience was not fine.
Registration was a mess and the 45 plus minutes I spent on the phone with Kayak was terrble. Kayak and Caesar's did not work well together. The coupons were poorly handled as well.
Room had a weird noise all night
It's as if a pipe was vibrating between the walls, but it would happen every 15 minutes. Very annoying while trying to sleep.
One of the best places to stay in AC
It was located right in the middle of everything. You can walk to anywhere.
The pool was for use by those 21 years old or older only. We had to go to ballys to use the pool. I didnt know that when booking the hotel.
The room I asked for, I did not get.
Terrible room facing lobby
Room faced lobby, was bright all night long, tons of noise coming into room, room was not ready when we arrived as offered online for 3pm check in, waste of 200 dollars, didn't sleep all night due to light coming in and noise from lobby traffic, would NEVER stay if here if had a choice elsewhere
The room was nice but you need to be at the rite tower.
Staff was rood at registration,we booked 2 rooms but they only showed one, also they wanted to give us double beds although we booked one king size bed.
While AC seems to be running down, this resort seem to be getting better. Unlike may stays in AC at other hotels, with the exception of Revel (closed) and Borgata, most place have become dirty and old, Caesar's room were spotless, nothing seemed old or run down (and I stayed at the old tower). The restaurants in the center lobby was pleasant to have dinner and a drink , connection to the mall was convenient, and the third floor restaurant in the Mall where very impressive and Manhattan like. I would recommend a couples weekend here, even for those who stay out of the Casino, as I did.
A surprisingly good option for an affordable price
I got a great deal on a room in the Centurion Tower (about $125 a night even after the resort fee, which was about $26 a day that they charge you at the end) and wasn't expecting a lot, though the room had a great view and was quite beautiful. Maid service was proficient in keeping it clean for the two days my girlfriend and I stayed there and I was overall very satisfied with the value I got while staying here, despite the bad Yelp reviews.
The TV in the mirror (which I think is an item only available in the premium rooms) was broken, and when I called maintenance about it, they said most of those mirror TVs throughout the hotel were broken. It wasn't an essential feature of the room, though it was unfortunate that it didn't work.
Seriously, best experience ever
I just came back from Europe that was a month long, this hotel is totally a replication of the hotels in Europe! High quality rooms that are extremely clean! I won't stay anywhere else now!
