Rooms were not clean, no towels, building in disrepair, 2 emergency exits would not open, THIS IS NOT DOWNTOWN, took over 2 hours to check in, 2 of the 4 elevators were not working, understaffed
We did not stay long enough to find anything good about this hotel other than the close proximity to the Geogia World Congress Convention Center.
The hotel is old and in need of renovations. Musty smell. Cleanliness issues. 2 of 4 elevators were not working. Elevators were small so there were lines waiting for elevators. Room was filthy. Our team had to check out and move to another hotel because of varying issues with the hotel.
Only one staff member (a recently promoted super) had any positive effect on my stay here. Her and one of the security guards were polite and generally welcoming. The room was ok.
The 'chef' was rude as hell and treated me like a bum off the street when i went to look at the continental breakfast after coming back from the store. Embarassing and unpleasant experience. Also the door handle to the closet in my room was broke off the hinge when I got there. Excluding my interaction the morning staff (05/23/18) I had an enjoyable stay. Not sure I would recommend this hotel to any one though to be honest. ((Not to mention I had to place an additional $50 deposit on a room I had reserved online. I was told it's going to take 3-5 business days which has been terribly inconvenient.)
Pay to park, room smelled like smoke
Staff was very friendly.
Not mentioned in the summary that there is an $18 fee to park there. The hotel isn't in the worst part of town but it definitely wasn't a good side of town. All of the rooms are non smoking but our room smelled like smoke. The bed was clean but uncomfortable. Rooms needed some updates, our carpet in the room was coming up in spots.
First Had a problem locating my reservation and the rooms did not have microwave and fridge.
