Barns Fell is in a perfect location on a quiet lane away from the main traffic, but just a 2 minute walk and you are in the heart of Ambleside high street. The rooms are so comfortable I regret not bringing my slippers. Ethna is so helpful and goes that extra mile to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay perfect.
The apartment was beautifully clean and had the best possible view of the fells you could ever hope for. Ethna was a great host and the apartment was short of nothing, from bath robes, toiletries champagne and chocolates to a personalised New Year greeting card. I can’t wait to return
It was perfect in every way!
Quiet, clean, comfortable and friendly. Barns Fell had amazing views all around, Fairfield to the north and Langdale to the west. The property also overlooked the town. The town centre was moments away... An excellent place to stay!
Very modern well equipped apartment
No carparking at premises itself but not too far to walk to the nearest car parking space
Ethna made us feel very welcome nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was well equipped clean and cosy. Love the bath!
