Great location, car park under hotel, within short walking distance to most of town centre, close to local meeting rooms & businesses. staff were friendly & reception has small snacks area & big fridge with water/drinks to purchase.
Rooms were a bit tired, old fashioned & could do with a refresh, Car park was small at around 12 spots in a shared underground car park with local flats etc, pedestrian gate was not locked & anybody could just wander in. The exit door leading from the basement car park to the hotel was locked & can only be opened with a room key (without a bell or buzzer to contact the reception) so you have to walk up the car ramp with all your stuff into a side street, having spoken to staff you need to check in first by pulling up outside on double yellow lines & get a room card so you can use the car park. Seems a daft idea & could be solved with an intercom on the car park door to let you in.
