We did not know until we got there that they did not take American Express. Also, were forced to add on an expensive daily insurance fee and they charged my credit card $1500 additional as a deposit that would not be credited back for a month! The entire rental felt like a bait-and-switch, as the rental cost a lot more than we were quoted. Also, when we returned the car, they went over it with a fine tooth comb and mentioned a scratch below the door that was there already. They said that they would get back to me “after inspection.” I am assuming that they are going to attempt to charge me something out of the deposit that I will have to fight. Unfriendly people that run it seem to be working for the Russian mafia. I honestly did not feel safe at all!! I would never use this service again!Reviewed 17 Oct 2023

Friendly staff, however, was very disappointed with the false promise of an uograde upon collection. I requested a VW golf or simular and ended up with a smaller Kia that couldnt fit any more than 2 people comfortably and had to out my suitcases on the back seat rather than in the trunk. Unfortunately i dint think i'll be renting with you again as this vehicle was completely unfit for purpose.Reviewed 24 Sep 2023

Clerk said 3rd party booking agent's insurance was worthless (since it's Green Motion who define the damage) so I'd have to buy Green Motion's insurance at 3 times cost of the 3. Pros:Car was upgraded to a brand new luxury car (we had paid for a mini/economy/compact) which was actually more stressful thinking of potential expensive repairs. The car worked great and the nav system was fully functional - had some weird settings that we couldnt figure out how to turn off.Cons:There were many hidden fees with this company that, since we booked through Kayak, were not made clear to us. They don't let you pay for the car using a credit card that has flat numbers. They claim this is because when they make a physical copy of the card, the numbers don't show up, and their insurance "doesn't like that". This is a scam to force you into buying their car insurance, which was very frustrating. They also wanted us to put down a deposit of almost $3,000 for our 1-week rental, or pay an additional $40 per day for a $1200 deposit. The total we paid ended up being similar to other bigger, name brand car rental companies, but it was just frustrating that this was advertised as a "discount" car company.Reviewed 8 Jun 2018
