Pros:Nice team on the plane
Cons:No water for free
Pros:The crew were friendly and helpful.
Cons:The planes are older and lack the amenities of the larger airlines. You have to purchase food and drinks. No USB ports or inflight entertainment. Seats where old shows wear and there was still trash from previous passengers in the seat pocket and a empty soda can rolling around under our seat.

Pros:The flight left on time. The staff was very nice in the airport and on the flight. I was impressed that the gate agent spoke 4 languages fluently.
Cons:I booked my hold luggage well after I purchased the ticket. I went to the baggage drop off desk and the lady could not find my reservation for my hold luggage. I was then instructed to go to the transavia desk to have the situation fixed because she could not do it from baggage drop off location. At the transavia desk the lady was a bit confused because in most cases the baggage drop off lady should have called her and she could have updated my file without me going there. She updated my file very easily and sent me back to the baggage drop off location and I checked my hold luggage. It is not a big deal but it could have saved me some time. The transavia website should have applied my hold luggage to the reservation properly and the baggage agent should have called the reservation desk to fix it instead of making walk to the desk to fix it myself.

Cons:Having to pay for luggage. I'd rather have it included in ticket price.
Pros:Transavia is a good low cost airline. Sadly what you don't pay for makes for a long flight if your journey is more than a couple hours; specifically no entertainment system and moderately comfortable seats make a long journey a bit of a marathon. The flight attendants were helpful and friendly.

Overview of Transavia
As it is based in the Netherlands, Transavia offers flights to four main Dutch cities, three of which are its primary hubs. In addition to domestic voyages, customers have the opportunity to go to many countries located throughout Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including Morocco, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates.
While the company doesn’t maintain codeshare agreements, it does have connections with other groups. For example, the airline is a subsidiary of KLM, meaning that it is also a part of the KLM - Air France group. Additionally, it has its own subsidiary, which is known as Transavia France and uses its own fleet.
Out of the 42 planes that compose Transavia’s fleet, a majority of them are Boeing. For shorter flights, such as domestic trips or voyages between two neighboring countries, the company chooses to use the Boeing 737-700, a plane that has a passenger capacity for 149 individuals and is known for having a spacious three-seat configuration. For longer international flights the airline is more likely to use the Boeing 737-800, as it can fit up to 189 individuals and has a larger fuel capacity.
Those that fly with Transavia are presented with three travel classes to decide between: Basic, Plus, and Max. While Basic gives you the right to bring a piece of hand luggage, Plus will allow you to check a bag and pick your seat. With Max, you will also be given access to the same benefits and amenities as Plus, as well as fast track security and priority boarding.
